Another Robbery Case In Msasa

The Zimbabwe republic police are investigating a robbery case that happened in Msasa Harare on the 24th of January 2022. According to the ZRP, the robbery took place at around 00:00.

Six unknown suspects who were armed with an unidentified pistol attacked the security guard whilst he was manning KFC premises. The suspects were covering their faces with balaclava masks to prevent identification.


The suspects took the security guard Itel cell phone before ransacking the offices. The suspects then broke into an office where they blasted the cash safe and stole USD$ 50 000, ZAR 30 000, and ZWL$19 000.

Cases of robbery have been prevalent in the country which led to the operation of impounding unregistered, plateless, and uninsured vehicles in the country. Some of the cases are being committed by the uniformed forces and recently two soldiers were sentenced 40 years each for committing robbery.


In another related case the ZRP has arrested Ashley Moses Foster Dube (21) for an armed robbery case which occurred in Chivhu on 16 January 2022.
