System Administrator 

  • Performs daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all equipment, server resources, systems, and key processes.

Qualifications

• A degree in Information Technology or Computer Science.
• Linux certification or a related professional qualification is an added advantage.
• At least 3 years’ experience in system administration, maintaining system security.

Database Administrator

Duties

• Sets up operating systems environments for database Installations.
• Installs and configures relevant databases and network components to ensure database access as well as database consistency and integrity.
Conducts database maintenance by indexing, compressing, and trimming of logs for all databases in line with the maintenance procedure
• Administers database user accounts and assigns privileges according to user duties in line user access matrix.
• Optimizes and configures databases to meet the required performance.

• Tests database backups and recovery procedures adhering to policy.
• Conducts database tests restorations monthly according to policy.
• Verifies daily database backups and disaster recovery site system availability.
• Tests and installs database patches to production environments in line with patch management and change management policies.
• Implements projects within or outside the data centre, or where database systems are concerned.

Qualifications

• A degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent.
• Professional Certification in a Database Management System(s) is required.
• Professional Certification on Servers, Storage and Operating Systems such as Linux, Windows, Sun Solaris is an added advantage
• A relevant vocational qualification or Oracle Certification is an added advantage.
• 4 years’ experience in Database Systems Administration or in a similar environment.

Human Resources Business Partner 

Duties

  • Compiles annual HRP requirements from departments for the group manpower plan.
  • Monitors, maintains, and approves the HRP in line with the budget.
  • Ensures alignment of departmental staffing requirements and the business strategic plan.
  • Takes lead of all talent acquisition initiatives to get the best talent available.
  • Monitors short- and long-term contracts, facilitating renewals on time.
  • Advises functional heads and line managers on labor legislation, grievance handling, disciplinary proceedings etc.

  • Ensures accurate data on all HRMIS platforms.
  • Develop initiatives and programs to implement with line managers to ensure an engaged workforce.
  • Identifies and recommends reward systems and processes that attracts, motivates, and retains the best talent.

Qualifications

• A Degree in Human Resources Management, Psychology, Sociology or equivalent.
• A relevant vocational qualification or certification will be an added advantage.
• At least 5 years’ experience in a similar or related environment.
• Conversant with current Zimbabwean Labour and related legislation.
• Good planning and coordination skills.
