District AIDS Coordinators

Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced candidates to fill in the above mentioned positions within National AIDS Council.

  • Masvingo – Bikita District x 1
  • Manicaland – Chipinge District x 1
  • Mashonaland East – Chikomba District x 1

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Prepare the integrated district plan and budget for HIV and AIDS interventions in the District
  • Promote, facilitate and coordinate the development, implementation and monitoring of a comprehensive District multi-sectoral response to HIV and AIDS in line with the ZNASP IV and other polices and guidelines
  • Facilitate collaboration and strategic partnerships
  • Provide technical support and capacity building on HIV and AIDS programming to NAC structures and partners
  • Mobilize stakeholder participation in HIV and AIDS programmes in the District.
  • Monitor and evaluate programmes in line with the National Monitoring and Evaluation system
  • Develop and maintain a Database on HIV and AIDS programmes
  • Mobilize resources for HIV and AIDS programmes
  • Provide Secretariat services to the DAAC
  • Documentation and dissemination of Best Practices in HIV and AIDS programming
  • Compile and submit periodic plans and reports on HIV and AIDS programmes to the Provincial office and relevant stakeholders
  • Oversee the financial and administrative functions of the District office
  • Any other duties as maybe assigned from time to time

Qualifications And Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Social / Health Sciences or equivalent
  • Certificate in Monitoring and Evaluation / HIV&AIDS Counselling or equivalent
  • At least 3 years working experience in HIV and AIDS / social / community development work of which 2 years should be at a supervisory level
  • Be in possession of a clean class 4 drivers’ license
  • A relevant Masters will be an added advantage

Internal Auditor – National AIDS Council (NAC)

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Carrying out comprehensive, effective and efficient risk based routine audits, for all NAC offices and all other beneficiaries of the National AIDS Trust Fund
  • Carrying out special audits and investigations
  • Documentation of audit findings and making recommendations to Management
  • Making follow ups on the implementation of audit recommendations
  • Interpreting policies and ensuring compliance to governing statutes
  • Any other duties as maybe assigned from time to time

Qualifications And Experience

  • Degree in Internal Auditing/ Accounting/ Full CIS/ ACCA or Equivalent
  • Knowledge of Enterprise Audit Management
  • At least 3 years auditing experience including investigative audits
  • Knowledge of ACL is a must
  • Be in possession of a clean class 4 drivers’ license
  • Sound analytical skills

Administration Officer

Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced candidates to fill in the above mentioned position within National AIDS Council.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Draw annual administration plan and budget in line with the Council’s strategic plan·
  • Undertake estate management duties ·
  • Facilitate maintenance and repairs of office equipment·
  • Run the Council’s stores and asset management function·
  • Ensure proper management of the Council’s vehicles ·
  • Ensure insurance policies for all assets are up to date ·

  • Maintenance of secure and clean working environments at all Council premises ·
  • Supervise the execution of the security contracts·
  • Supervise subordinate staff in the Administration section ·
  • Compile quarterly and annual Administration reports ·
  • Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time

Qualifications And Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree Administration/ Business Management or equivalent ·
  • A relevant Master’s/Post Degree qualification will be an added advantage
  • 5 years’ relevant working experience
  • Clean Class 4 driver’s license Adminstration Officer 2022
  • Knowledge and understanding of public sector organizational processes
