Technical Assistants

NetOne Cellular (Private) Limited seeks to recruit a highly motivated, outstanding and results oriented individual to fill the above mentioned position.

Reporting to the.Field Maintenance Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for assisting Field Maintenance Engineers in the maintenance of the mobile network elements with emphasis on rigging, so as to provide optimum service to the customers, safely, timely and cost effectively.

Dties And Responsibilities

  • Maintains equipment racks and Cabinets, indoor and outdoor equipment, antennae, for BTS and Transmission systems, ietc in accordance with laid down procedures
  • Maintains and repairs/replaces and test cables, viz. feeders / waveguides, coaxial, and fibre as per instructions
  • Carries out appropriate cable terminations;
  • Maintains sites in a high state of cleanliness inside and outside including grounds
  • Carries out first line maintenance of the diesel engine and air-conditioning plants

  • Delivers fuel to sites and maintain accurate fuel delivery records of each site
  • Takes up standby duties during weekends and holidays as per schedule
  • Performs any other duties as assigned.

Qualification And Experience

  • 5 0-Levels including English and Maths
  • A Diploma in Telecommunication Systems or equivalent
  • One-year experience in similar environment
  • Knowledge of telecommunication systems
  • Rigging experience an added advantage.
  • Ability to climb and work on both guyed and self-supporting towers
  • Ability to install/replace RF cables and optic fibres
  • Knowledge of Telecommunication Systems with a bias towards Mobile communications and transmission systems
  • Basic knowledge of telecommunication power systems
  • Computer literacy
  • Possession of a clean class 4 drivers licence with a minimum of two years’ experience
  • Knowledge of and adherence to safe working procedures.

Card Services Manager

Dties And Responsibilities

  • Leads the development of an overall Digital strategy for the MF S and drive its implementation in order to deliver the overall revenues, market share, competitiveness and brand targets
  •  Manages Cards, Channels and Digital Proposition businesses for increased uptake, profitability and market share
  • Spearheads new businesses around Remittances, Digital Lending, c-commerce and drive for market share, profitability and deposit flows
  • Develops business case analysis for the proposition focusing on profits, deposits and market share in order fir meaning-ful decisions to be made
  • Leads and manages end-to-end Product Development life-cycle by working closely with key functions to ensure their requirements are captured, analyzed and implemented successfully

  • Develops and maintains strategic alliance relationships with relevant financial and technology partners to ensure that the Digital strategy is at the forefront of any alliances and product development opportunities
  • Defines quantitative & qualitative processes for periodic fundamental marketing research of diVerse products and. services;
  • Defines the project scope, goals and deliverables, and identifies the players responsible
  • Oversees day-to-day progress.and monitoring of the execution plans, ensuring that correct progress is being achieved by each market in the overall plan
  • Undertakes the deliVery of regular progress reporting, focusing on exceptions and steps to correct the exceptions. Accurate and honest reports on project status and risks to the final delivery
  • Conducts regular training sessions for team members and staff to create awareness about digital propositions nd position each staff asa Digital Ambassador

Qualification And Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance or equivalent;
  • Five to ten years related management or supervisory experience required;
  • Progressive experience in operations, plastic card management, deployment strategy andior project management is an added advantage.
  •  Strong proficiency in analytical tools;
  • Collaborative and outgoing team player;
  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Marketing Manager Mobile Financial Services

Dties And Responsibilities

  • Facilitates brand communication (advertising and packaging), creation of development processes and works with advertising agencies to strategically deliver sound messages
  • Ensures brand innovation projects, develops innovation against agreed brand strategy to ensure brand health
  • Delivers sales and profit targets as well as developing consumer insights as a basis for innovation
  • Works closely with supply chain management (planning, operations, customer care, billing, sales and legal) to ensure their processes input into innovation development
  • Spearheads a holistic understanding of consumers and customers (motivating factors driving consumers’ brand choice and usage behavior) and insights in order to enhance business growth and gain competitive advantage

  • Delivers outstanding communication/advertising for the brand
  • Proposes an annual brand plan that sets out brand objectives and accompanying brand strategies after a thorough internal and external environmental analysis.
  • Brand objectives to include Market Share, Usage level (ARPLT), profit margin and overall brand profitability.
  • Brand strategies include product features, pricing and tariff structure, promotion/ communication and distribution strategies.

Qualification And Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years’ marketing experience.
  • Should possess Technical training skills on all MFS product development activities
  • Must understand trends and respond to customers’ wishes
  • Ought to have strong communication skills.
