ICT Auditor

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Prepare risk-based audit plans and conduct information technology audits.
  • Examine information technology systems, infrastructure, operations, applications, databases, development, security, communication networks, business continuity and disaster recovery procedures.
  • Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of controls, risk management, security, and governance on ICT operations.

  • Review compliance with laws, regulations, contracts, standards, and best practices.
  • Continuous online auditing and monitoring of data to check for completeness, accuracy, integrity, and reliability of data.
  • Conduct special audit projects assigned by the management.

Qualifications And Experience

  • Degree in ICT/ CISA/ CISM
  • Clean Class 4 Driver’s Licence
  • A minimum of two years post qualifying experience
  • Good interpersonal and leadership skills

Procurement Officer

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Assist in the selection of appropriate suppliers to promote good procurement practice with due regard to sustainability, ethical purchasing standards and costing.
  • Co-ordinate the procurement cycle to ensure that goods, works and services are provided timely and at the most competitive rates
  • Monitor and evaluate supplier performance in line with the prevailing procurement regulations.
  • Ensuring all purchases comply with Authority’s purchasing procedures
  • Work with internal stakeholders (user departments) to determine procurement needs, quality and delivery requirements.
  • Reconcile or resolve order discrepancies with supplies.
  • Reviewing purchase orders for completeness and process requisitions in line with the Authority’s policy and procedure.

Qualifications And Experience

  • Degree in Purchasing & Supply or equivalent I HND Purchasing & Supply I CIPS Level 5/ Diploma Purchasing & Supply
  • Aminimum of ttlree years post qualifying experience
  • Good interpersonal and leadership skills

Infrastructure Auditor

The Zimbabwe National Water Authority (ZINWA) is inviting applications from suitably qualified, mature, honest and substantially experienced persons for appointment to the above challenging position which has arisen in the Organisation. The applicant will be based at Head Office, Harare.

  • Prepare a risk-based infrastructure audit plan and conduct technical audits of projects, and operations.
  • Assess the adequacy and effectiveness of governance, controls, risk management on infrastructure, maintenance projects and operations.
  • Evaluate the efficiency, effectiveness, and economical use of resources on projects, operations and or programmes to achieve the strategic objectives.
  • Review infrastructure projects, operations, technical documents, contracts, payment certificates to ensure value for money and improve infrastructure and project management and service delivery.
  • Evaluate the integrity of infrastructure and assess compliance with laws, regulations and best practices on infrastructure and operations management.
  • Inspect and evaluate infrastructure projects and processes and make recommendations for improvement.

Qualifications And Experience

  • Degree / Diploma in Built Environment or a relevant project management professional certification
  • Clean Class 4 Driver’s Licence
  • A minimum of two years post qualifying experience
  • Good interpersonal and leadership skills
