Raphina To Sign For Barcelona (71Million)

Barcelona have won the race to sign Raphinha after reaching an agreement with Premier League side Leeds United, according to GOAL.

Chelsea were also interested in the winger, but Barcelona and Leeds have struck a verbal agreement, and the deal is expected to be announced in the coming days.

Barcelona manager Xavi Hernandez is considering a team revamp, and the signing of Raphinha is a step in that regard.

Barcelona is expected to pay Leeds €71 million (£60 million/$72 million) for the winger’s services.

Leeds and Barcelona have agreed to pay the final cost in instalments since the Liga club’s present financial predicament prevents them from paying the complete amount upfront.

The two clubs’ negotiations have intensified, and they are now attempting to iron out the small elements of the agreement.

Raphinha chose a move to Spain in order to fulfil his ambition of playing at Camp Nou. Deco, a former Barcelona player, is representing him and has devised a plan to make the transfer happen.

Leeds seemed to have no problems with allowing the winger to leave the Premier League once Barcelona matched Chelsea’s bid.
